Fresh! Films recently produced in Catalonia is an exhibition project developed jointly by Screen From Barcelona and The Private Space, with the aim to strengthen and give visibility to both the network of visual arts production centers in Catalonia and its visual artistic production. The exhibition is conceived as a multi-curated selection of the different platforms involved in the project, giving not only to know the works and artists in residency or linked to these centers but also their work as producers.
The main goals of the participating centres are to support artistic creation and production, to work with other centers nationally and internationally and to provide tools for the visibility of their production. Each center has been invited to present an audiovisual work recently produced or supported by the center, with the aim of providing a current view of the audiovisual artistic creations.
The exhibition will open at The Private Space on May 17 and will feature various artistic production platforms as ACVic Centre d'Arts Contemporànies, Can Xalant, Centre d'Art i Natura, Hangar, Priorat Centre d'Art, La Escocesa, La Rectoria, Niu: Espai Artístic Contemporani, Cacis el Forn de Calç, IGAC, Cal Gras, Nau Côclea, L'Estruch, Experimentem amb l'Art, Bòlit, Idensitat, Sala d'Art Jove, Espai d'Arts Roca Umbert and TPK Art and Pensament Contemporani, most of them part of XarxaProd. The exhibition will last until June 8.
4t FESTIVAL D'ART INDEPENDENT PEPE SALES 2011
Quarta edició del Festival d'Art Independent Pepe Sales, dedicat aquest any a l'artista Lluís Vilà i Vendrell (Banyoles, 1952-2010) i que se celebrarà del 20 al 25 de gener a Girona.
El programa d'aquesta edició presenta importants novetats i recull l'esperit de les anteriors edicions a través d'exposicions, cinema, instal·lacions, reciclatge urbà, actuacions i performances.

POL·LEN DATE
A la primavera, la ciutat és plena de partícules de pol·len. El pol·len, independenment de la seva procedència, és capaç de generar sinèrgia amb la resta de partícules i amb el context més inmediat.
Cada partícula de pol·len actua de manera independent i interactua amb l'entorn.
D'aquesta manera és com funciona el PolenDate, una cita de música en directe en diferents espais de la ciutat.
Pol·lenDate incentiva aquesta obertura oferint una programació GRATUÏTA durant una setmana amb:
The Sunsun band (o La Orquesta del Pony Ganador), Joan Colomo, Xavi Lloses, Your Kid sister, Mein Sohn William, Desmond, Tom Hagan & band, Lazy Juo, Mumusic Circus, instal·lacions artístiques, exposicions i molt més....!
