Ephemeral Maps. Complicities and synchronicities

The exhibition Ephemeral Maps. Complicities and synchronicities presents the creative universe of Denys Blacker. Parallel worlds that offer us a particular relationship between art, science and spirituality.

The selected works showcase the broad and fertile expressive range of the artist: drawing, sculpture, video and a strong presence of works related to performance art, a creative practice that brings together and gives meaning to all the languages of her art. Denys Blacker uses her body as a mediating reality, porous and open to embodied forms of knowledge that encompass everything from intuition, energy and spontaneity to active dialogue that embraces material in all its states.

In the exhibition, Denys Blacker examines our capacity as individuals and as a community to generate innovative, dynamic and transformational relations between material reality and immaterial reality. Improvisation constitutes the core of her research and her creative itinerary is geared towards performativity, telepathy and synchronicity.
