The European project "The Spur" closes its activity with the creation of a pioneering resource bank for contemporary artists

For two years, Bòlit, Centre d'Art Contemporani. Girona has internationalized its activity across Europe, gaining visibility, notoriety and cohesion

The Spur project ends its activity with an international meeting in Girona with 16 artists and 8 professionals from the cultural management sector that have been collaborating together since 2016 to create a network for visual arts in Europe.

The meeting, which has taken place on the 9th and 10th of July, has had the aim to discuss with the participating artists of The Spur their experiences with the project, exchange their point of the view of art conception and ways to approach contemporary art, as well as to finalise a good practices model document and contract for artists in residency. These will be published in a public research bank on the project’s website at the end of August.

Recommended by the artist Lluis Hortalà, the program "Territori Contemporani" dedicates to the Bòlit, Centre d'art Contemporani. Girona, part of the chapter that was issued on Sunday, September 23, 2018.
