The technological revolution of the first decade of the 21st century has brought about major changes in fields such as economics and politics and transformed forms of production, communication and consumption. These new situations have created fresh challenges that call for innovative attitudes and models. Presentation of Núria Güell's project: Anatomy of a Virus,  2011

Organised by IGAC (Girona Contemporary Art Information), Container is a space designed to create an online art collection. Assisted by a computer programmer, an artist or group creates a piece designed and produced specifically for the internet. The guest artist in 2011 is Núria Güell and the project is Anatomy of a Virus (2011).

A virusn. 1 (from Latin virus, «toxin» or «poison») is a microscopic infectious organism that can only replicate inside the cells of other organisms. Viruses infect all kinds of organisms. Since they are too small to be observed with an optical microscope, they are termed submicroscopic. They spread in many different ways and each virus has a different form of transmission. These methods include transmission vectors.

Anatomy of a Virus analyses the anatomy of a virus and reproduces it to become immune by applying it to cultural neoliberalism.
